<p><em>Shameless</em> star<strong> Cameron Monaghan</strong> is working hard in the gym to stay fit, and the results are seriously impressive.</p>
<p>The 27-year-old actor was recently filmed during his workout at Dogpound, a gym that&#8217;s a favorite among numerous celebrities, including models Chanel Iman, Kaia Gerber, Ashley Graham, and Karlie Kloss, and actors including Noah Centineo and Hugh Jackman.</p>
<p>In the clip, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/ryanrosenthal12/">posted to Instagram</a> by Dogpound trainer Ryan Rosenthal, Monaghan can be seen doing plank crunches. To tackle the ab workout, Monaghan props up his upper body on a set of floor-based supports, extending his legs behind him on a medicine ball. Once in a plank position, Monaghan does a push-up, then brings his knees into his chest to activate his core.</p>

<p>That&#8217;s not the only way Monaghan stays toned, however. In an interview with <a href="https://hero-magazine.com/article/37852/cameron-monaghan-talks-jamming-with-jeff-bridges/"><em>Hero</em> magazine</a>, Monaghan revealed that he&#8217;s a big fan of getting in a workout in the ring, as well.</p>
<p>&#8220;I used to do XMA, which is doing acrobatics, martial arts, learning about weapons, and all that fun stuff! But for the past couple of years I&#8217;ve just been boxing,&#8221; Monaghan explained.</p>

<p>When it comes to his diet, Monaghan isn&#8217;t exactly Spartan, either, although he admits that balance is key.</p>
<p>Monaghan told <a href="https://blackchalkmagazine.com/cameron-monaghan-beyond-shameless/"><em>Black Chalk</em></a> magazine that he had no regrets about indulging his inner foodie during a trip to France.</p>
<p>When asked what he ate, the actor replied, &#8220;Foie Gras, caviar, pretty much all the cliche French foods. It was all delicious. I was eating too much baguette and cheese. So I have to get back into fitness mode now.&#8221; And by the looks of it, he&#8217;s <em>definitely</em> made good on that promise.</p>

<p>Celebrity chef <strong>Sandra Lee</strong> has been on a mission to get fitter and healthier in 2021, and her dedication has paid off. In a new Instagram post, the star revealed that she&#8217;s shed 17 pounds over just two months, and her tips for losing weight are surprisingly easy to follow.</p>

<p>Looking fit in an all-black outfit, Lee opened up about how prioritizing daily exercise has made a major difference in terms of how she looks and feels.</p>
<p>In the caption to <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CKMjO6VFHOd/">her progress photo</a>, Lee revealed that she&#8217;s now taking between 10,000 and 20,000 steps daily to help keep the weight off. In terms of her diet, Lee hasn&#8217;t been adhering to any specific plan; instead, she attributes her progress to a combination of healthy eating and intermittent fasting.</p>

<p>Lee hasn&#8217;t let inclement weather deter her on her quest for better health. In a photo posted to her Instagram in January, Lee said that there&#8217;s one trick that&#8217;s been getting her to <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CKU0P4rF2da/">stick to her step goal</a> when she&#8217;s in the gym: watching episodes of <em>Friends</em> on the treadmill.</p>
<p>&#8220;I just got through 20 minutes on the treadmill keeping my heart rate at 170 and the time flew by thanks to Rachel Ross Phoebe Chandler Joey and Monica (Who by the way I am most like)!!! Thank god for Friends-they&#8217;ve got your back even when you&#8217;re breaking a sweat!&#8221;</p>
<p>To <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CJonLRRlZH7/">jumpstart her weight loss</a> efforts following a 30-pound weight gain, Lee rebuilt her diet and exercise habits from the ground up.</p>
<p>Lee revealed that her plan, which she kicked off on Christmas day 2020, consisted of &#8220;very few carbs,&#8221; lots of vegetables, a few fruits (including berries, bananas, and watermelon), fermented foods, eggs, low-sodium broth, and plenty of coffee, tea, and &#8220;lots of water.&#8221;</p>

<p>Among the biggest changes to Lee&#8217;s way of eating was <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CKMjO6VFHOd/">removing alcohol from her diet</a> entirely. She kicked off her teetotaling as part of her Christmas day cleanse and was still going strong without alcohol nearly a month in.</p>
<p>&#8220;So far I haven&#8217;t had a cocktail in 25 days. Holy cow- dry January is a whole thing – especially for me!&#8221; she captioned a photo of herself in the gym with her nephew, admitting that despite her weight loss feeling &#8220;so, so slow,&#8221; she was eager to stick to her plan. &#8220;I will stay the course but Ugh!&#8221; she told her followers.</p>

<p>While Hudgens admits that she sometimes finds herself unable to work out as much as she&#8217;d like while she&#8217;s spending long hours on set, she more than makes up for those missed workouts when she&#8217;s off the clock.</p>
<p>&#8220;I normally do a cross of Pilates, SoulCycle, and yoga. And some days when I have the time, I love doing Pilates first and then going over to SoulCycle,&#8221; she told <em>Parade</em>. &#8220;I love a double up! I always feel so accomplished when I double up.&#8221;</p>

<p>When it comes to her diet, La La prioritizes keeping her energy up with whole foods packed with protein, fiber, and essential nutrients. In an April 22 post to her Instagram Stories, La La revealed the exact meals <a href="https://www.instagram.com/pinchoflovebytashia/">her personal chef</a>, Tashia, whips up to help her maintain her weight loss and stay healthy.</p>
<p>So, what&#8217;s <a href="https://www.instagram.com/lala/">on the menu</a>? Shrimp and vegetables, lightly-seasoned fish filets with asparagus and cherry tomatoes, and lean beef with Brussels sprouts.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s not just her diet that&#8217;s helped La La achieve her fit figure—she admits that she&#8217;s had help getting into shape from trainer <strong>Kirk Meyers</strong>, founder of The Dogpound, where celebs like <strong>Addison Rae</strong>, <strong>Kaia Gerber</strong>, and <strong>Noah Centineo</strong> also work out.</p>
<p>&#8220;I come here almost every single day and Kirk, the owner, has become one of my closest friends and a real inspiration in my life for getting myself together and focusing on myself,&#8221; she told <em>E!</em> &#8220;I <a href="https://www.eonline.com/news/869038/la-la-anthony-opens-up-about-her-workout-routine-s-therapeutic-impact">definitely have lost weight</a>. I definitely feel better about myself, more toned, have more energy.&#8221; In addition to Myers&#8217; weight-based workouts, La La told <a href="https://hollywoodlife.com/2017/08/17/la-la-anthony-workout-routine-diet-plan-beauty-products-interview/"><em>HollywoodLife</em></a>, &#8220;I love to box.&#8221;</p>

<p>While La La has admitted in the past that milk chocolate is her &#8220;biggest weakness,&#8221; she says she&#8217;s been able to tame her cravings with healthier alternatives.</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve found other things that taste healthy, like dark chocolate. After a while, you train your taste buds to not want it as much,&#8221; she told the <a href="https://nypost.com/2013/03/31/life-in-the-fast-lane/"><em>New York Post</em></a>.</p>

<p>Despite her busy schedule, La La has made self-care a priority amid the pandemic.</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m that person that&#8217;s there for everybody all the time and I&#8217;m stretched so many different ways,&#8221; she explained during a 2020 episode of <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAufPsc_Vt8"><em>Girlfriends Check In</em></a>. &#8220;I just feel like there&#8217;s not always a lot left over for me, so that&#8217;s something I&#8217;m trying to work on and not feel guilty about it.&#8221;</p>
<p>However, she said that giving herself some much-needed &#8220;me time&#8221; in small doses has been a major benefit to her overall wellbeing.</p>
<p>&#8220;Once you start doing it, you realize that you have to find ways to recharge and rejuvenate—even if it&#8217;s just taking five minutes to meditate,&#8221; she told <a href="https://www.health.com/celebrities/la-la-anthony"><em>Health</em></a> in April 2021.</p>

<p>When Mendes doesn&#8217;t have to be on set early in the morning, she opts to work out early. &#8220;On the days I can work out first thing in the morning, I definitely do,&#8221; says Mendes.</p>
<p>&#8220;On normal days, I make a fun routine out of it. I go over to my trainer&#8217;s house, Andrea &#8216;LA&#8217; Thoma Gustin, where she has a garage gym set up. I bring my dog to play with hers. It feels like a hangout; it&#8217;s organic and makes me happy.&#8221;</p>

<p>To stay toned, Mendes says her trainer &#8220;does a lot of circuit training, but she always switches it up.&#8221; However, she also enjoys a more relaxed approach to exercise from time to time.</p>
<p>&#8220;I try a lot of different classes, but I always <a href="https://www.shape.com/celebrities/interviews/camila-mendes-riverdale-overcame-fear-carbs-stopped-dieting">come back to yoga and Pilates</a>,&#8221; she told <em>Shape</em> in 2018.</p>

<p>Long hours on set and intense workouts can leave anyone feeling sore, so Mendes makes massage part of her regular routine, as well. Mendes says that her trainer, who&#8217;s also a trained physical therapist, will give her massages with her Theragun post-workout.</p>
<p>&#8220;She really gets into my hamstrings. I laugh uncontrollably every time (because it&#8217;s really painful!) but it&#8217;s also ticklish. It adds to my routine and I like giving attention to my body in that sort of way,&#8221; says the actor. <p>Self-care has become non-negotiable for Mendes amid the pandemic, and meditation has been an essential tool in the actor&#8217;s wellbeing arsenal.</p>
<p>Mendes says that when things get &#8220;overwhelming&#8221; at work, she retreats to her trailer to meditate. &#8220;I&#8217;ll text production and say, &#8216;Hey I&#8217;m going to meditate in my trailer for ten minutes. Please don&#8217;t knock unless it&#8217;s urgent.&#8217; And then I turn off all the lights, sit on the floor, take out my phone, and meditate using the Balance app.&#8221;</p>
