<p>Last year was a transformative one for Ree Drummond aka The Pioneer Woman. The star has lost 55 pounds since January 2021, and has since kept it off after she decided she wanted to start before her daughter&#8217;s wedding in May. Little exercise and a hectic work schedule had led the Food Network host to her highest weight ever—but not for long.</p>
<p>In June, she was 43 pounds lighter and explained how cutting calories, building muscle, increasing her protein intake, eating less sugar, eliminating alcohol, logging her weight with an app, and other habits were essential. She admits <a rel="noopener noreferrer external nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://www.thepioneerwoman.com/ree-drummond-life/a38944960/ree-drummond-weight-loss-ten-things-i-learned/">in a new blog post</a> that she thought it would be a final weight loss recap, but she&#8217;s since lost even more pounds and is sharing everything the experience taught her.</p>

<p>Starting in January, Drummond went all-in and focused on the changes like calorie counting and exercising that once the summer came around, felt like daily life.</p>
<p>&#8220;The initial, more intense, stage doesn&#8217;t have to last forever,&#8221; says she is &#8220;glad I&#8217;d been so strict for that first stage, because it wound up being a nice crash course that equipped me going forward. Starting out with that discipline actually allowed me more freedom later in the process.&#8221;</p>

<p>&#8220;I can&#8217;t emphasize this enough,&#8221; Drummond says in the blog post. &#8220;Building muscle—not just the smaller muscles in your arms, but the larger muscles in your legs and butt—will turbo charge your weight loss like nothing else and set you up for more success.&#8221;</p>

<p>Once she started paying more attention not only to <em>what </em>she was putting in her body, but <em>how much</em>, Drummond started breaking the spell. &#8220;I trained my body to get used to smaller—well, I should say more normal—portions,&#8221; she says noting that a year later she is still &#8220;eating all the foods I love, but my body is satisfied with much less of it.&#8221;</p>

<p>Although she cut alcohol in the first half of the year, Drummond admits that having a social drink once in a while is not a bad thing at all. She says she swaps sugary, caloric drinks like daiquiris and margaritas and other sweet cocktails for things like Ranch Water—which is clear tequila, lime juice, and sparkling water over ice—or a White Wine Spritzer—made up of a small amount of cold white wine, sparkling water, and lemon slices—because they are more hydrating and help her to not drink as much. Basically, it&#8217;s like having &#8220;two drinks for the calories of one,&#8221; she says.</p>

<p>In addition to building muscle and getting used to exercising, Drummond explains in her blog post that movement every day helped her achieve her goals. After the initial weight loss, she found herself sidetracking from her routine, and was only exercising two or three times a week—but on the days when she wasn&#8217;t, she could feel the difference.</p>
<p>&#8220;So I made sure to stay more committed than ever to using my standing desk, stepping away for frequent breaks, and putting myself in a position to move more,&#8221; she says, noting that little habits like this have stuck. &#8220;Today, I&#8217;m still using a standing desk and not letting myself collect too much dust during the day.&#8221;</p>

<p>The act of stepping on a scale can be triggering, Drummond admits, but seeing the number for her wasn&#8217;t about obsessing over each ounce she wanted to lose. &#8220;Before I decided to lose weight last January, I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;d stepped on a scale for two years,&#8221; she explains. &#8220;I willfully hadn&#8217;t weighed myself because I never wanted to know. Without seeing that number go up over time, it was easy for me to tell myself that it was probably just a few pounds.&#8221;</p>
<p>Instead, it now helps her identify trends in her body. She includes screenshots of her weight tracking via the Happy Scale app. Here&#8217;s what she says about what the habit is like now:</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m settling in just below the original goal weight I imagined for myself—which, by the way, was intentionally realistic! I wasn&#8217;t striving for pre-marriage, pre-baby, pre-thirties weight! 😊 Just a good weight where I thought I&#8217;d feel and look better, and where I felt I&#8217;d be able to maintain and have longer term success.&#8221;</p>

<p>&#8220;There&#8217;s nothing on my list of banned foods!&#8221; Drummond says about her life after weight loss. Yep—nothing! Like the first lesson she learned, the first few months of 2021 were stricter in terms of her diet of a few sugary foods and no alcohol consumption. Now she follows two thoughts—&#8221;First, my portions are much more reasonable. Second, I do still pay attention to the daily proportions I&#8217;m devoting to both high protein foods and foods with wasted calories.&#8221;</p>

<p>Drummond says in her blog post that she looks at some foods now as calories that aren&#8217;t as beneficial and nutritional as others. These &#8220;wasted calorie&#8221; foods include sugary soft drinks, cookies, cake, potato chips, donuts, and other similar foods. Now she tries to think of eating a &#8220;Rhode Island&#8221; sized portion of these foods instead of a &#8220;Texas&#8221; size.<span aria-hidden="true" style="display: none">6254a4d1642c605c54bf1cab17d50f1e</span></p>
<p>&#8220;Using the doughnut as an example, some days I eat half the doughnut. Some days I decide not to eat the doughnut. Other days I&#8217;ll pinch off a bite of the doughnut. Heck, there will be a day now and then when I will eat the whole doughnut,&#8221; she says, noting that &#8220;There&#8217;s no hard and fast rule, but I&#8217;m just more mindful of it now.&#8221;</p>

<p>While 53-year-old says her daughter&#8217;s wedding in May was a great motivational tool for her initial weight loss, Drummond says that being steady with adding in more exercise and controlling portion sizes, and changing how she eats is easier than focusing all efforts on one thing.</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve been able to experience different approaches: building muscle, eating more protein, moving/standing more, exercising on the rowing machine, logging my daily weight, etc.&#8221; she explains. Doing this has allowed her more control over the changes that come with life.</p>

<p>The star hesitates to say her weight loss was a &#8220;lifestyle change&#8221; because she never wanted to change her lifestyle. Instead, she says the experience has been a sort of perspective shift on portion sizes, movement, protein intake, and more, as she sees those things differently a year later.</p>
<p>She then shares a before and after picture, not to label one as &#8220;bad&#8221; and the other as &#8220;good&#8221;, but because &#8220;it is helpful for me to see the distance I&#8217;ve come, and to know that the changes have been good for me,&#8221; she says.</p>
<p>Her lifestyle is the same—she is doing the exact same things every day like &#8220;living on the ranch, filming my cooking show, working on cookbooks and my product line, and being a wife and slightly weird mom&#8221; as she was a year ago. The only difference is her weight loss and the lessons she has learned!</p>
<p>&#8220;Today I feel stronger, more in balance (both physically and mentally), and I have more spring to my step. I am wearing clothes I wasn&#8217;t comfortable wearing a year ago, I feel better about the way I look, and I&#8217;m smiling more,&#8221; she ends the post staying. &#8220;But to come full circle…it hasn&#8217;t changed my life itself. I still have cow manure in my yard, for example. It&#8217;s on top of snow, and it&#8217;s ruining the dreamy winter vibe. 😂 Gotta go clean that up now, but at least that&#8217;ll help me get out and move!&#8221;</p>

<p>Rebel Wilson is <em>the</em> celeb to follow on Instagram right now. The <em>Pitch Perfect</em> actress has been celebrating her body transformation with the world and being super candid about her weight loss journey by frequently sharing photos and updates with her millions of followers.</p>
<p>On Monday, Wilson posted a picture of herself wearing athletic leggings, a sporty crop top/sports bra, and a beachy sun hat. The caption reads, &#8220;Let&#8217;s go Mexico!&#8221;</p>
<p>In the photo, you see the back of her as she seemingly observes the ocean waves. She stands on a big rock on a beach with her right hand raised, gently holding the rim of her hat. Various rock formations as well as a cluster of smaller rocks surround the actress as she poses.</p>
<p>The post already has over 320,000 likes and more than 1,000 comments.</p>

<p>For those who aren&#8217;t in the know on all things Rebel Wilson, her weight loss journey began in early 2020. After losing more than 60 pounds, her goal appears to be maintaining her current weight and not fretting about what the number says on the scale.</p>
<p>In June, the <a rel="noopener noreferrer external nofollow" href="https://www.hellomagazine.com/healthandbeauty/health-and-fitness/20210611115129/rebel-wilson-weight-loss-secret-revealed/" target="_blank">41-year-old told </a><em><a rel="noopener noreferrer external nofollow" href="https://www.hellomagazine.com/healthandbeauty/health-and-fitness/20210611115129/rebel-wilson-weight-loss-secret-revealed/" target="_blank">Hello!</a> </em>that, instead of following a strict diet or participating in grueling workouts, she walked at a moderate pace to help her shed &#8220;unnecessary body fat.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8220;The goal was never to be skinny,&#8221; she said to the outlet. &#8220;It was never to fit into a certain dress size. I put in a weight because I needed some tangible thing.&#8221;</p>
<p>After scanning through her Instagram page, which is filled with pictures of her smiling in swimsuits, tennis skirts, fancy dresses, and casual wear, one thing is very clear: Wilson seems to be happier than ever.</p>

<p>Most of us know losing weight requires some discipline… but have you ever imagined how challenging it would be if your job was to develop <em>and</em> test new dishes every single day? Gordon Ramsay, who&#8217;s just launched a new partnership with Tide to encourage you to live smarter by washing your clothes in cold water, is getting personal about his recent weight loss. In an exclusive interview with <em>Eat This, Not That!,</em> Ramsay reveals four massive diet and lifestyle shifts he made to lose 50 pounds, and how he&#8217;s maintained his goal for three years and counting.</p>
<p>In 2019, Ramsay and his wife, Tana, welcomed their youngest child. That was shortly after the <em>Kitchen Nightmares</em> star had shared with a U.K. publication that he&#8217;d undergone a <a rel="noopener noreferrer external nofollow" target="_blank" href="https://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-5320041/Gordon-Ramsay-lost-four-stone-wife.html">weight loss</a> mission for the sake of his marriage. &#8220;I look at the pictures and think, &#8216;How did Tana stay around?'&#8221; he said, adding: &#8220;Tana has got better-looking and more gorgeous.&#8221;</p>
<p>These days, it sounds like two-year-old Oscar is the only one in the Ramsay household who, shall we say, doesn&#8217;t eat &#8220;clean.&#8221; The chef hints that life is busy at home, though he enjoys pitching in with the family. (In our conversation about Tide&#8217;s #TurnToClean initiative, we asked him the last time he needed to deal with stain removal. &#8220;The last thing . . . that ended up on my clothes was some pasta I was feeding Oscar,&#8221; he said.)</p>
<p>He continued: &#8220;Good thing I&#8217;m partnering with Tide to help keep my chef whites and my clothes at home as clean and crisp as possible. When I saw how Tide was able to deliver a superior clean even in cold water, I was convinced. I am now committed to washing in cold—when washing on cold with Tide, you use 90% less energy and, in the U.S., it saves you up to $150 in energy bills a year while extending the life of your clothes. A secret my wife Tana kept from me!&#8221;</p>

<p>On the biggest nutrition change he made to get leaner, Ramsay tells us, &#8220;I just ate more efficiently and healthier. I ate more fatty acids like salmon.&#8221;</p>
<p>We&#8217;ve long touted the benefits of adding in fish for weight loss. Salmon, in particular, is filled with omega-3 fatty acids that contribute to satiety.</p>

<p>Ramsay also reveals that in the process of adding more beneficial fats to his diet, he also cut down his intake of dairy significantly, &#8220;I found that cutting dairy out in coffees and teas made me feel more energized.&#8221;</p>

<p>Ramsay adds that exercise is a top priority each day. &#8220;My mornings . . . [are] when I always work out,&#8221; he says. &#8220;I just try to work out on shoot days or when I&#8217;m in the kitchen early in the morning so I&#8217;m energized throughout the day.&#8221;</p>

<p>If you&#8217;ve been keeping up with <strong>Rebel Wilson over the past two years,</strong> you&#8217;re likely aware of her total body transformation. The actress has been sharing glam pictures and progress updates on her Instagram ever since her weight loss journey began in early 2020.</p>
<p>On Monday, she posted a photo of herself in a slick red bathing suit, accompanied by a motivational message.</p>
<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s never too late to improve yourself – to improve your health, your heart, your happiness, your harmony. For everyone out there just trying to be a lil bit better this week: go for it! Every bit counts. Every effort is worth it. You&#8217;re worth it,&#8221; Wilson wrote.</p>
<p>In the photo, Wilson stands on a tree trunk in the ocean, while lifting one hand in the air. She sports a red, long-sleeved one-piece swimsuit that features a plunging neckline. The IG post has received more than 547,000 likes and more than 2,500 comments so far, many of which include words of affirmation from fans.</p>

<p>By December 2020, the <em>Pitch Perfect</em> star had lost more than 60 pounds, which was a product of her &#8220;<a rel="noopener noreferrer external nofollow" href="https://www.today.com/popculture/rebel-wilson-reflects-uphill-journey-her-year-health-t204670" target="_blank">year of health</a>.&#8221; In a recent <a rel="noopener noreferrer external nofollow" href="https://www.hellomagazine.com/healthandbeauty/health-and-fitness/20210727118407/rebel-wilson-thrills-fans-exciting-update-weight-loss/https://www.hellomagazine.com/healthandbeauty/health-and-fitness/20210727118407/rebel-wilson-thrills-fans-exciting-update-weight-loss/" target="_blank">IG Live with <em>Hello!</em></a>, the 41-year-old admitted that while she tries not to keep track of how much weight she&#8217;s lost, she believes she&#8217;s likely lost between 70 and 75 pounds since her weight loss efforts began.</p>
<p><strong>&#8220;I try not to keep track of it too much, but it&#8217;s like 70 pounds, 75 pounds, maybe a bit more.</strong> Which in kilos, my international audience, is like 30, 35 kilos, close to that, and so far have not gained any of it back, which is pretty cool, because never in my life have I been able to do that,&#8221; she said.</p>

<p>In a new interview with Australia&#8217;s <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B1wU6KmOEng"><em>Today Show</em></a>, Raven-Symoné revealed that she decided to lose weight after having a frightening experience at the doctor.</p>
<p>&#8220;My numbers came back and it scared the bejesus out of me. I&#8217;ve always dealt with weight my entire life…surpassing 200 pounds at some points, going under 150 at other points,&#8221; she explains. &#8220;There was a moment recently where I sat down with my wife and I was just like, &#8216;This has to stop.'&#8221;</p>

<p>In order to shed the pounds, Raven-Symoné adopted a &#8220;low-carb, high-fat&#8221; way of eating that she says keeps her satiated in a way that her previous meal plans didn&#8217;t.</p>
<p>In addition to her new way of eating, the star says that she&#8217;s been incorporating &#8220;lots of fasting&#8221; and low-impact exercise into her regular routine.</p>

<p>Raven-Symoné says that, in addition to making over her eating habits, she feels like she &#8220;finally understand[s] the science of my body and what it needs in order to be at a healthy weight.&#8221;</p>
<p>The star says that much of her weight loss has come about due to a seismic mental and emotional change. &#8220;I call some of my weight &#8216;hate weight,'&#8221; she explains, noting that therapy and her happy marriage have helped guide her transformation. &#8220;As soon as I stopped hating things around me and my cortisol went down, I was able to not rely on carbs as much and take away all of those things that were really pushing my insulin levels to the point of no return, creating an insulin resistance in me that is very dangerous for future health.&#8221;</p>

<p>Raven-Symoné says she&#8217;s not letting the number on the scale determine how she feels about her progress.</p>
<p>&#8220;I put away that number, I put away that scale,&#8221; she says. &#8220;What I look at is: Am I able to walk up a flight of stairs without huffing and puffing? Am I able to wake up without inflammation in my ankles and my wrists and all of my injuries? Am I able to digest foods without grumblings in my tummy?…I&#8217;m not trying to hit a goal number, I&#8217;m just trying to stay healthy.&#8221;</p>

<p>Celebrity chef <strong>Katie Lee Biegel</strong> welcomed daughter Iris 10 months ago, and the new mom just revealed that she&#8217;s already back to her pre-pregnancy weight. However, the star admits that getting there wasn&#8217;t as easy as she thought it would be—and that the number on the scale isn&#8217;t her main focus these days.</p>

<p>On July 9, Biegel <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CRFA1TTp4xY/">opened up to her Instagram followers</a> about how &#8220;bouncing back&#8221; after having her daughter hadn&#8217;t exactly been as easy as she&#8217;d hoped.</p>
<p>&#8220;I recently hit my pre-baby weight, but it really isn&#8217;t about the number on the scale. We spend 9 months growing, expanding, and having so many changes…then there&#8217;s childbirth…which for me, was the easier part. What I was not at all prepared for was the postpartum recovery. I was in quite a bit of pain for a solid 6 weeks and it took me a much longer time to heal physically than I ever expected,&#8221; Biegel explained. The star noted that she was unable to exercise for the first few months after giving birth and found herself without either the time or energy to prepare healthy meals.</p>
<p>However, now that she&#8217;s finding time to practice these healthy habits, Biegel says she&#8217;s feeling more like herself again. &#8220;I started to get back to myself. Exercise, my big salads, blow drying my hair! Now, I power walk every day with Iris in her stroller, I do postnatal and Pilates workouts on @obefitness, and I use my @ww app. I finally feel like my body is back…not only because of the number on the scale, but I feel like I am back to feeling strong and healthy.&#8221;</p>

<p>Biegel, who is a WW partner, has long been an advocate of largely plant-based eating. In a March 2021 interview with <a href="https://www.eatingwell.com/article/7893228/what-katie-lee-biegel-eats-in-a-day-on-weight-watchers/">EatingWell</a>, Biegel credited fruits and vegetables with helping her lose weight after the birth of her daughter.</p>
<p>&#8220;I always look at my plate and try to make it 70 to 80% vegetables. I want a colorful diet. If you load up on the good stuff, you can crowd out the bad stuff,&#8221; she explained.</p>

<p>Biegel admits that it&#8217;s easy to give in to temptation when she&#8217;s on set, so she allows herself to have a tiny portion of the foods she&#8217;s craving to avoid overindulging.</p>
<p>Prior to filming, Biegel makes sure to exercise so that she&#8217;s kicked off the day with a positive choice for her health. Once on set, she allows herself just a few bites of less than healthy food before moving on. &#8220;I learned quickly that if you eat everything [on set], you will feel terrible at the end of the day. So I&#8217;ll take a couple of bites, and then I walk away,&#8221; she told <a href="https://www.health.com/celebrities/katie-lee"><em>Health</em></a> in 2018.</p>

<p>While Biegel has been working hard to slim down after giving birth, she&#8217;s said in the past that she&#8217;s not going to go to any extreme lengths to do so.</p>
<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t subscribe to that no-carb thing. I&#8217;m so sick of the Atkins diet and all that,&#8221; the admitted pizza fanatic told <em>Health</em>. &#8220;First of all, if you&#8217;re not eating carbs, all you do is think about them. It&#8217;s one of those things that you take out and, initially, you lose weight, but you are miserable.&#8221;</p>

<p>To start her day off on the right foot, Beauvais typically enjoys a smoothie for breakfast.</p>
<p>&#8220;I wasn&#8217;t really a smoothie kind of person, but I&#8217;m doing that now,&#8221; she told <em>Women&#8217;s Health</em>, adding that she also fills up with nuts and fruits, including berries, mangoes, and pineapples. &#8220;[They&#8217;re] the fruits that I grew up with,&#8221; she explained.</p>

<p>After a stressful year at home, during which Beauvais admitted she often felt like she had little time to herself, she&#8217;s now making self-care a priority during her free time, and allowing herself a little leeway when it comes to her eating habits.</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m not going to go crazy and say, &#8216;I&#8217;m only going to eat protein, I&#8217;m never going to have a slice of pizza.&#8217; I can&#8217;t do that for me; it has to be a balance,&#8221; she explained.</p>

<p>When it&#8217;s time for dinner, Beauvais typically sticks to foods she knows her 13-year-old sons, Jax and Jaid, will also be eager to eat, including macaroni and cheese, lasagna, steak, and mashed potatoes. She also makes sure to make room on the menu for some of the dishes she grew up with, as well.</p>
<p>&#8220;I make pot roast. I make Haitian dishes,&#8221; said the star.</p>

In a video posted to the <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/COw3toKHi1Z/">Acero gym Instagram account</a>, Ora is seen doing leg lifts while suspending herself from a training bar, lower ab crunches and leg raises on a weight bench, cable rows with abdominal twists, and cycling a pair of wheels with her hands from a raised plank position.</p>

<p>To achieve her toned physique, Ora relies primarily on weight training, incorporating only shorter cardio workouts into her routine.</p>
<p>&#8220;I do circuit training. I usually work out for one or two hours, depending on how much time I have. I do three circuits and repeat that three times. I mostly focus on my thighs and my bum, so I do a lot of squats and weight lifting. And I do <a href="https://www.shape.com/celebrities/videos/how-rita-ora-completely-revamped-her-workout-and-eating-plan">one circuit of cardio</a>,&#8221; she told <em>Shape</em>.</p>

<p>Kourtney doesn&#8217;t just jog on the treadmill to get into shape—she has a specific list of moves on the machine that keep her toned. Her trainer, Joel Bouraïma has Kourtney do four specific exercises:</p>
<p><strong>-shuffling side steps, which she does at 1.5- and 3-mile speeds for 30-second intervals<br />-side steps with a resistance band over her knees, done at 1- and 2-MPH for 30-second intervals</strong><br /><strong>-incline walking between 10 and 15% at 3.5-MPH speed carrying dumbbells and shadowboxing for 30-second intervals</strong><br /><strong>-alternating 10 kettlebell squats and 30 seconds of backwards walking at 10-15% incline for five minutes total</strong></p>

<p>It&#8217;s not just her treadmill workouts that keep Kourtney in such great shape. In an interview with Poosh, Kourtney&#8217;s other trainer, Amanda Lee, revealed the exact circuit training moves Kourtney does to maintain her fit figure.</p>
<p><a href="https://poosh.com/kourtney-kardashian-hiit-workout/">Her routine</a> includes three sets of jump squats and jumping lunges, mountain climbers and push-ups, burpees and squat jumps, and jumping jacks and jumping jack planks.</p>

<p>Even when she&#8217;s traveling, Kourtney doesn&#8217;t skimp on her exercise routine. During a trip to Egypt, Kourtney revealed that, even without a gym, she managed to keep her workout goals on track.</p>
<p>In addition to power-walking, <a href="https://www.eonline.com/news/927910/this-is-how-kourtney-kardashian-keeps-her-body-ridiculously-fit">Kourtney told <em>E!</em></a>, &#8220;I did 200 chair squats to keep my hamstrings, glutes and quads toned. Just pretend you are about to sit in a chair and pop up into a standing position while engaging your core.&#8221;</p>

<p><strong>Noah Centineo</strong> has transformed from teen heartthrob in the <em>To All the Boys</em> franchise to ripped superhero in mere months—and he’s just revealed how he got into the best shape of his life. The 24-year-old has been training hard to get ready for his role as superhero Atom Smasher in the upcoming DC Extended Universe film <em>Black Adam</em>, and the results are nothing short of shocking.</p>
<p>On March 24, Centineo’s trainer, <strong>Kirk Myers</strong>, posted a video of the star working out at Meyers&#8217; Dog Pound gym—and it&#8217;s no stretch to say that the star&#8217;s gains have made him practically unrecognizable.</p>

<p>Centineo proudly showed off his progress as well, posting still photos from the workout session to his own Instagram account. &#8220;Thirst trap by @kirkmyersfitness,&#8221; Centineo captioned a series of photos of himself.</p>
<p>It’s not just the hard work he’s put in at the gym that’s helped Centineo achieve such a mind-blowing transformation, however—his eating habits have changed dramatically, too.</p>
<p>While discussing the weight he’d put on to play He-Man in an upcoming <em>Masters of the Universe</em> remake, Centineo revealed that he had tripled his caloric intake to help bulk up.</p>
<p>However, he admitted that the major shift in his diet wasn’t exactly as fun as it may seem.</p>
<p>In a 2020 interview with <em>ET Online</em>, Centineo admitted, &#8220;<a href="https://www.etonline.com/to-all-the-boys-2-lana-condor-and-noah-centineo-say-the-stakes-are-higher-in-the-sequel-exclusive">It&#8217;s a lot of eating</a>. You would think it’s awesome, but it’s like 6,000 calories a day. The average person is supposed to eat like 2,000 calories a day.&#8221;</p>
